Product description
V-screen is a multifunction info display device for the Vag cars. It is faced to the car driver..
By V-screen people can know the most info of the car. And by this tool people can make the setting for the car to make it more personalized.
V-screen is not only a car info display system but also a very powerful car fault code scan tool. By V-screen people can know whether the car has the trouble. The device can show the fault code with a detail description to let the car user to know the car condition. It will protect the interests for the car user when the car in the warranty time.
Now many cars are equipped with the original back up radar function. For some reason there is only voice notice, and ignored the detail display info, so the user can not know the distance between the car and the object. V-screen can provide a full info for the back up radar info. By V-screen people can know the distance and direction of the object accurately. So the driver can make the good judgment.
V-screen also has the setting for the maintenance service notice function. User can set the V-screen to let it notice you when the car in the appointed KM (Mileage).

Installation

Put the vscreen in the eye-catching place, then use the connect cable connect the V-screen and the OBD2 port of the car. The length of the cable is 1.0 meter.

2 V-screen display
2.1 Key on display (idle display)
Idle display info shows the info when in idle condition or when the key turn on.
When the user turn on the key and the car is on ignition, the V-screen will show the screen as above. The left side of the screen shows the central lock and door lock motor info, and also shows the hood and the engine cover motor info.
If the door or the engine cover or the hood not close well the V-screen will warn for it. The right top shows the info for the distance to empty. The below show the distance to maintain. (Use V-screen more time the data will be more accurate)
The left side of the third line shows the battery voltage. The right side shows the out temperature.
The left side of the fourth line shows the left fuel volume and the right side show the water temperature.

2.2 Drive display info

Cruise mode sport mode
When drive the car the V-screen can show one of the screen above. You can change it via the [↑]button or the [↓] button.
n Cruse mode
The left side shows current speed. The first line of the middle shows the instant fuel consumption. The second data shows the average fuel consumption.
The second line of the middle shows the outside temperature. The second data show the distance to empty.
The third line of the middle shows the current drive distance. The second data show the current drive time.
n Sport mode
There are 3 gauge filed show the Horse power and torque and engine load and boost value.
User can define the data which want to show.

2.3 Back up radar display info
Back up radar
If the car equipped with the original back up radar, and when users back up the car the v-screen will show the picture above automatically. The value shows the shortest distance that one of 4 radars detected.
2.4 Fuel consumption calculates function.
v-screen has the powerful function for the fuel calculate . it can display the instant /average fuel consumption and the distance to empty. And also has the record for the fuel added history. It can show the fuel added info .
Every time the user add the fuel and ignite the car the screen will show the fuel add info. User can input the value that the fuel he added. V-screen will record the data of the current added fuel volume and the current dash mileage value. And calculate the related fuel consumption info.
When the car in idle condition, user can push the [OK] button to switch to he V-screen menu screen. And select the

Push the [OK] button to enter into the “FuelMile” then select the “Fule/Mile” you can see the aggregate mileage , consumed fuel and the fuel consumption every 100KM since you installed the V-screen.

Select the “History “menu, you can find the fuel added history and can find drive distance for each time add oil , and can calculate the average fuel consumption data for every tank fuel.

V-screen can let the user recalculate the fuel consumption data, by select the “Clear” menu, you can clear all fuel consumption and fuel added history. So you will be careful to use this function, because after clear the data the reference value will not be accurate. Need aggregate to make it more accurate.

2.5 Fault code scan and delete function
V-screen has the powerful function for the Fault code scaning and deleting.
Most time the fault code is the occasionally code, you can simply delete it. If the fault code is not occasionally, you need make a judgment to see whether need to go to repair shop to make a repair.
When the car is in idle, press [OK] button to enter into the menu to select the “CodeScan”

When enter into the system, you can select the car module to make a scan. V-screen can support nearly 100 VAG control module. You can make a selection according the judgment.

When enter into the system, the V-screen will let you select the communication mode. One is CANBUS mode, the other is not.

After enter into the control module you can select the function.

When user select “Read DTC”, V-screen will show the fault code and detail description in the screen . every page shows one fault code.
In the right left of screen can show how many fault codes has been find.

If the user want to delete the fault code , can select the “Erase DTC” to delete it.

2.6 Auto setting
V-screen can activate some hide function in the car. By “Auto Set”, you can do it.
Enter into the “Auto Set” and select the function you want to activate.

2.7 V-screen setting
n Tips function ：
User can use the V-screen to set some tips. Such as speed waning, low fuel volume waning, Drowsy Driving waning.
Maintenance tips, Transmission Fluid change tips, oil change tips.

For example people can use the speeding tip function to avoid drive too quickly.

Normally the default tips for the low fuel is 7 L left. By the V-screen you can set to any value you want.

Also you can set the maintenance tips.
If you want to close one of the tips function you can simply input 0 is [OK].
n Stand by ：
Normally the V-screen will shut off 30 seconds later after the user turn off the car. But user can define this value also.
Normally do not define it shorter than 10 seconds.

User can set the screen contrast to make a good display effect.

You can select 3 of 4 data you want show in the screen in sport mode.

2.8 Accelerate test
V-screen also has the accelerate test function. When select the “Acce Test “ then the system will pop the range that you want to test. After the user set the range well press [OK] to start test .

After set value press [OK] to start test. When the speed reach the start speed the system start to calculate the time, and when reach the end speed it will show the test result.
